Broad Ings Embankment Repair

We have been working on the Broad Ings slip repair, delivered on behalf of Envagency as part of the Asset Recovery Package.  The scheme is to repair a large earthworks slip caused by the Storm Desmond Flooding where the berm has eroded to the toe of the flood bank.  We have installed a rock roll revetment to support the toe of the slope and imported 500T of cohesive fill material to reinstate the berm.  Seeded topsoil is then placed and covered with an erosion blanket.
