Avanti Grange Bridge - Bishop's Stortford

Bridge Installation – Avanti Grange Secondary School, Bishop’s Stortford Following four months of constructing the bridge abutments and approach ramps, the Breheny Civil Engineering team successfully installed the new pedestrian bridge for Avanti Grange Secondary School in Bishop’s Stortford during a 48-hour road closure of the A120. The bridge was lifted into position using a 450-tonne mobile crane, marking a significant milestone in the project. The operation required detailed planning, close coordination with contractors, and was completed safely and efficiently.
