ARMED FORCES COVENANT
Recently Simon Podd visited RAF Wattisham to learn more about the Armed Forces Covenant.
The Covenant is a national promise that those who serve, or have served, in our Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly and with respect.
It’s about ensuring no disadvantage in areas like employment, healthcare and housing and recognising that Reservists in particular balance civilian careers alongside military service.
A powerful reminder that support for the Armed Forces isn’t just a military issue, it’s a responsibility shared by employers, communities and society as a whole.
