SHEQ Administrator
Role
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the SHEQ team, including the Group Head of ESG, Regional SHEQ Advisors, and SHEQ Coordinator.
Responsibilities
· Assist with the compilation of evidence for internal and external audits of our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001 accreditations.
· Assist with the compilation and submission of documentation in support of awards where appropriate (e.g., ROSPA & British Safety Council).
· Assist with the preparation and issuing of Integrated SHEQ Plans and H&S files to operational teams across the business.
· Provide assistance in the completion of client submission documentation such as PQQs, tenders and safety information requests, plus maintain and update standard responses.
· Assist with obtaining Service Drawings from Linesearch, Digdat, BT, GTC, City Fibre and various others.
· Collection, collation, maintenance, and input of statistical information.
· Assist with the organisation of Occupational Health Assessments for Safety Critical workers, when required and maintain OH records database.
· Provide support in relation to creating and issuing of SHEQ reports to operational teams across the business.
· Assist in the development of SHEQ Communications as required.
· To represent the business core values at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
· Able to manage own time effectively, whilst working to tight deadlines
· Previous experience in a Safety, Health and Environmental capacity within the Construction Industry would be an advantage.
· Computer literate and skilled with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Training in all business systems will be provided.
· Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
· Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative
· The ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload.
Hours and Environment
Normal working hours for this role are 9.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.
This role will be office based but may be required to make occasional visits to other offices and construction sites in the UK.
