Coundon Park, Coventry City Council

We’re pleased to announce the completion of a 1.5km segregated cycleway and footway through Coundon Park, funded by Active Travel England and managed by Coventry City Council.

The route links Waste Lane, Tamworth Road and Coundon Wedge Drive, making it safer and easier to walk, wheel and cycle across the park.

Improvements also include:

  • New eco-sensitive lighting
  • CCTV at Waste Lane and Tamworth Road car parks
  • New benches along the route
  • 25 new trees and planting
  • Extra bins

This project is a great example of investing in sustainable travel while also enhancing our green spaces for the whole community.
