Coldharbour Roundabout

Last week the Coldharbour Roundabout was officially reopened, following a ten month project to increase the capacity and flows by enlarging the roundabout.
Works included earthworks, drainage, road reconstruction including new street lighting, signs and road markings.
The project required major traffic management due to its strategic position close to junction 5 of the M20 and as a major route into Maidstone and Aylesford.
Breheny project staff worked closely with Kent Police to ensure emergency access was maintained to their Headquarters close to the roundabout.
The photo shows Councillors, Officers of Kent County Council and staff from Breheny Civil Engineering at the opening ceremony.
