It Takes a City (Cambridge)

For the last 3 years Breheny have been working in collaboration with It Takes a City (Cambridge) to transform an old community space known as Joys Garden into new accommodation for the homeless in Cambridge. An Open Day took place on 29th November so residents and the media could view the new homes, and the first resident is due to move in later this week. Hopefully, this will be the first of many new small developments to help tackle homelessness in the City. As well as making a £25k contribution towards the construction costs Breheny delivered the new infrastructure and acted as Principal Contractor for the project.
