Freeport East Skills Escalator

Breheny’s Sophie & Lauren attended the FESE at The Mix in Stowmarket on Wednesday 9^th July. The Skills Escalator project is a partnership project, managed by Suffolk New College on behalf of the colleges and universities serving the Freeport East area and funded by Freeport East from its Skills and Innovation Fund. It is intended to raise aspirations and inspire people living in the Freeport East area to grasp the opportunities presented by the existence of the Freeport.   The roadshow element of the project will bring businesses and education / training providers together with school pupils and those looking to change or start a career in one of the key sectors identified for the Freeport East area: construction, logistics, clean energy, agri-tech, manufacturing and maritime. It was a great opportunity to meet members of the community.
