Don Street Pump Installation

Another milestone was achieved at Don Street Pumping Station with the installation of the high volume pumps which were delivered from Sweden, in total 3no pumps were fitted to pre-installed pipe work. Each pump is capable of discharging 1000lts per second in full flow, for example when all 3 pumps are in operation they could empty an Olympic size swimming pool in 13 minutes.
